Lending planes

Our large collections of aircraft coupled with our limited area for proper storage means that we must lend some of our planes to other museums in Sweden and abroad.

Pic: Plane Tunnan will be lended out to F 10.We lend only to those museums that can meet certain requirements. These include ensuring that the recipient will take care of the planes and exhibit them in a manner approved by us.

Another reason why we lend planes is that the Swedish Air Force Museum is a central museum in that Swedish Military Heritage, and thus has certain responsibility to other aviation museums in Sweden.
