As far as we know, the first air passengers were a sheep, a rooster and a duck placed in the basket of a balloon, and launched from the Palace of Versailles, outside of Paris, in 1783.
Weapons, communications and engines
Today, there are unmanned aircraft that are piloted from the ground. Communication, weapons, various types of aircraft and engines are displayed in the exhibition regarding the development of technology. In addition, we show changes in the form and function of planes from the beginning of the 20th century to the JAS 39 Gripen, the fighter plane used today.
