Sweden’s first aviator, Carl Cederström, received his aviator’s certificate in France in 1910. He and his plane took part in the first military aviation training programme, which opened at Malmen in Linköping in 1912.
The first two planes purchased by the Swedish armed forces, M 1 Nieuport and B 1 Bréguet, are included in the exhibition, as are other rare planes, such as the Ö 1 Tummelisa and Thulin G.
